The 2017 MASL Fall Conference will be held on Saturday, October 21st at the Camden Hills Regional High School. The full day conference will focus on the newly adopted Maine Effective School Library Program Standards (SLPS), with presentations and workshops to guide attendees through understanding, self evaluating, and setting goals to develop a highly effective school Library program in Maine. The opening session will feature Librarian Iris Eichenlaub, Knox County Teacher of the Year for 2017. Learn how Ms. Eichenlaub has transformed the CHRHS Library into a thriving, user-focused program.
Also included are sessions with Susan Ballard, former President of AASL and current online Instructor at Granite State College. Ms. Ballard will be leading two informational sessions: Pathway to School Librarian Leadership, and Libraries Transform: the Expert in the Library.
If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, you must contact maslibraries@gmail.com by Monday, October 16th to receive a refund. Cancellations after 10/16/17 will forfeit the registration fee.
