Last week at Reading Roundup, Thorndike generously donated large print books for MASL members. We are excited to follow-up with an Affinity Session on Wednesday, April 30th from 5-6pm.

Join Liz Guillemette, the Library Media Specialist at Maranacook Community High School, to talk about her experience building a large-print collection. Representatives from Thorndike Press will discuss their research on the benefits of large print books as well as resources for building a collection.

For members who attend the Zoom session, we will raffle off a selection of large-print texts donated by Thorndike. Don't miss the chance to win some books for your school library!

Thorndike will also have a coupon for all attendees.

Maine Effective School Library Standards addressed in this session:

2A. Materials and Resources

Student needs for learning resources are met through well-developed collections of materials in a variety of formats.
